Hello everyone!

My name is Sophie Andersen and I've been teaching English at the ZfS since February 2016.

I have known Paderborn University for several years because I studied Romance languages and literature here, specialising in Spanish and English-American literature and cultural studies.
During my studies I learnt or refreshed my knowledge of other languages, including Portuguese, Russian and French. I also gained experience abroad at the Universidad de Zaragoza and the University of Sheffield, among others, which allowed me to participate in the cultures and everyday life of the respective countries.
Since completing my studies, I have been working on my PhD in English Literature and Cultural Studies and have started teaching in the meantime, including specialised seminars, Business English and practical language exercises.

I am looking forward to sharing my experience and enthusiasm for the English language, literature and culture with my students.
