Support for Teachers using English as a Medium of Instruction (STEMI) | Would you like to communicate and interact more clearly and confidently with your students in your English lessons? Could you benefit from constructive and confidential feedback on your oral English skills - possibly in preparation for a sabbatical year abroad? This programme offers you individualised support based on your needs, whether you are a first-time teacher or an experienced one. With this programme, professors, lecturers and doctoral candidates can improve their English-language teaching and communication skills. We offer support in the fields of expression, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, communicating instructions clearly, writing lecture notes, interacting with students and creating understandable presentation slides. Firstly, you can decide in which fields you would like support. Dr Pamela Heidi Douglas will then visit one of your courses and offer you personal feedback afterwards. You are also welcome to obtain a second feedback (for a second class visit) during the course of the semester. Feedback is confidential, objective and constructive and is designed to enhance the quality of your teaching. |
