Originally from Canada, Pamela Heidi Douglas has studied and taught English in countries across Europe, North America, and Africa. In addition to coordinating the English courses and programs for UPB employees, Heidi teaches academic writing and speaking courses, offers English conversation groups and writing meetups, and provides one-on-one coaching and consultations to UPB employees. She holds a Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and Leipzig University, an M.Sc. from Oxford Brookes University, and a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
