Inclusive-Uni / Promoting Inclusive Campuses for Equity and Diversity

Overview

The ERASMUS+ project Inclusive-Uni - Promoting Inclusive Campuses for Equity and Diversity focuses on inclusion in higher education.

Inclusive-Uni is a project in the field of higher education within the ERASMUS+ program, in which the Chair of Business Education II is an active partner.

Duration: 24 months

Project start: 01/09/2024

End of project: 31/08/2027

Inclusive universities are important because they create an integrative learning environment where people from different backgrounds, abilities and life experiences can come together to learn, grow and thrive. The aim is to provide equal opportunities. Inclusive universities provide equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, physical abilities, or other characteristics. This enables everyone to achieve their full potential.

In addition, diversity and perspectives should be promoted. By admitting students from different backgrounds and with different experiences, inclusive universities create a diverse learning environment. This diversity enriches the learning process, promotes intercultural exchange and helps students to learn about different perspectives and ways of thinking. It promotes acceptance and tolerance. Accessibility and the promotion of innovation are also important. The Inclusive Uni project is therefore developing innovative inclusive learning arrangements in a European context. The partners compare different perspectives on inclusion and integrate inclusive forms and methods into courses and seminars. Digital solutions are taken into account. Overall, inclusive universities help to create a fairer, more inclusive and more dynamic society in which everyone has the opportunity to learn and get actively involved.

English is used as the project language in the Inclusive-Uni project.
