About the person

Kirsten Schlegel-Matthies has worked at the Institute for Nutrition, Consumption and Health since 2002. From 2002 to 2016, she held the professorship for Home Economics and since 2016 the professorship for Didactics of Home Economics (Consumption, Nutrition, Health). From 2005 to 2014, she was a member of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development Round Table and from 2015 to 2018 a member of the Expert Council for Consumer Affairs of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection.
