Mobility for teaching purposes by invited corporate staff (STA2)
Erasmus+ Key Action KA131 - Erasmus+ Programme Generation 2021-2027
A block seminar by a representative from a European research institute? Team teaching with a colleague from a Spanish company? Invite a representative of a French NGO to teach at Paderborn University?
Erasmus+ makes all this possible and sponsors short-term stays for guest lecturers. Guest lecturers contribute to strengthening the European dimension through their stay and complement the teaching programme. You therefore have the opportunity to invite company personnel from Erasmus+ programme countries to teach at Paderborn.
General conditions
- Eligible persons and conditions of participation: When inviting company staff (STA2): Staff (including doctoral candidates) employed in the labour market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research and innovation or by public or private organizations (excluding the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education) who have been invited to teach at UPB (from an Erasmus+ programme country)
- Duration of the apprenticeship: 2 to 60 days (without travelling to and from the destination), thereof max. 6 funded days
- no minimum teaching load/no minimum duration
Financial support
- The allocation principle is "first come, first served"
- Erasmus+ funding is limited. In general, the application deadline is at least 6 weeks before the start of the mobility programme. However, for better planning of Erasmus+ funding, we ask that you apply early.
- Full funding (per diem) for up to 6 days of stay (teaching days at UPB) and
- 0-2 travel days for arrival/departure by flight, boat, car
- 0-6 travel days for arrival/departure by sustainable means of transport (green travel): Train, bus, car-sharing and other sustainable means of transport. Example: If the home institution is so far away that the guest lecturers spend 2 days travelling by bus, 4 additional travel days can be requested for the outward and return journey.
- Guest lecturers with disabilities or chronic illnesses as well as guest lecturers who take their child(ren) abroad with them can submit a real cost application for the actual costs incurred.
Project 2023/24: valid for trips between July 1st 2024 - May 31st 2025
