How do I come to Paderborn University as an exchange student?

If you are studying at one of Paderborn University's partner universities, you can apply there - to your International Office or your faculty - for one or two exchange semesters at Paderborn University. Here you can find the list of our partner universities.

If you come from a partner university but are studying a subject area with which there is no exchange (yet), it is often still possible for you to come as part of the exchange programme. In any case, you must apply for Paderborn via your university. As soon as we have received your nomination from your university with your (e-mail) address, you will receive all the documents from us: the forms for your application, accommodation and language courses, as well as an information brochure. Later you will receive the letter of admission, an offer of accommodation (if desired) and the address of your sponsor in Paderborn.
