Eligibility requirements
The following conditions must be met in order for you to apply for an Erasmus+ grant for an international placement:
- For the duration of the placement you must be enrolled as a student at Paderborn University or have recently graduated from Paderborn University. Graduates may still receive a grant for a placement abroad up to one year (12 months) after completing their studies, on the condition that they submit the grant application in their final year of studies.
- Both obligatory and non-obligatory placements are eligible for funding.
- The placement must last at least two months (=60 days). In the context of the Erasmus+ programme, one month is considered to be exactly 30 days (apart from if the placement finishes in February where the month is 28 days).
- The placement must be full-time (>32 hours per week).
- The placement must be relevant to your field of studies.
- Your application must be received no later than 6 weeks before the placement starts.
- The placement will take place in one of the EU Member States, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Serbia (or the United Kingdom).
- The placement takes place at an eligible institution.
