As part of Erasmus+, all students have the opportunity to apply for the “Green Travel” top-up in addition to the supplementary amount. “Green Travel” refers to travel that uses low-emission modes of transport such as buses, trains, or carpooling for the majority of the journey. If you use sustainable means of transport for at least 50% of your journey to or from your host university, you can claim up to a maximum of 4 travel days for your arrival and departure (amount corresponds to additional daily allowance for destination country). All students receive a flat rate of two additional travel days on top of their Erasmus+ grant, regardless of the type of transport they use. This means that you can claim a maximum of 6 additional travel days in total.

You can apply for this via a questionnaire in Mobility Online.
