Daka student loan
Daka grants student loans up to a maximum amount of 12,000 euros per student. Here some key facts:
- The loan is usually disbursed in monthly installments, and the funding rate can be up to 1,000 euros per month.
- Within the framework of the loan guidelines, you can flexibly arrange the loan amount and the monthly funding rate according to your needs.
- Up to the maximum funding amount, it is also possible to split the funding between the bachelor's and the subsequent master's degree program, if required.
In addition to its student loans Daka also grants loans specifically for semesters abroad. Students can apply to the Daka for up to 6000 euros in loans for their semester abroad via their local student union; paid out in one sum. The amount of the loan depends on individual needs. The repayment usually begins twelve months after the expiration of the grant, but can be postponed further in justified cases. Interest does not accrue on the Daka loans; a one-off contribution of 5% of the loan amount is charged to cover the administrative costs.
