The voting members of Paderborn University were called to vote in the period from June 5 to 12. Members of the status groups university teachers, academic staff, technical and administrative staff and students were called to vote.
Representatives were elected for:
- the Senate
- the Faculty Councils of the five faculties
- the Student Parliament (StuPA)
- the directly elected student representatives (student representatives and student council)
For the first time, the elections were held over a period of one week. Participation in the election was possible around the clock and regardless of location via the digital election portal.

The term of office for elected representatives begins on October 1, 2023 and ends on September 30, 2025. The term of office for student representatives ends on September 30, 2024.
