The research training group NERD (North Rhine-Westphalian Experts on Research in Digitalisation) aims to strengthen the promotion of young researchers in IT security at universities and colleges in North Rhine-Westphalia and to sharpen the research profile in the research area of human-centred systems security in the long term. Young researchers and participating professors will be brought together (sometimes for the first time) across all locations. The centrepiece of the research training group is the cross-location doctorate in research tandems.
