Think­ing in­clu­sion - shap­ing edu­ca­tion. An Is­lam­ic-theo­lo­gic­al and re­li­gious edu­ca­tion ap­proach

On 23 and 24 October, the Paderborn Institute for Islamic Theology (PIIT) and the Centre for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies (ZeKK) at Paderborn University are hosting a conference on the topic of inclusion with a focus on Islamic theology and religious education. The speakers will explore the question of how inclusive cultures, structures and practices can be established in Islamic religious education. The conference will take place at the "Liborianum" education and conference centre in Paderborn and all interested parties from academia, practice and education policy are cordially invited to attend. Registration is possible until 10 October by e-mail to Yasemin Bas(yasemin.bas@upb.de). Further information can be found on the PIIT website.

The first day of the event runs from 2pm to 7pm and is entitled "Inclusive cultures - theological and anthropological perspectives". The second day of the conference "Inclusive Structures and Practices - Pedagogical and Didactic Perspectives" will take place from 9 am to 1.15 pm.

With Prof. Dr Zishan Ghaffar, Jun. Prof. Dr Naciye Kam??l?-Y?ld?z, Jun. Prof. Dr Idris Nassery, Yasemin Ba? and Prof. Dr Brigitte Kottmann, academics from Paderborn University will also contribute impulses from research and practice. Dr Juliane Ta Van from the Comenius Institute Münster will moderate the conference.
