Workshop as part of the EU project "INNOVADE" on 23 and 24 September

Location: Hotel Aspethera, Am Busdorf 7, 33098 Paderborn

The "INNOVADE" ("INNOVAtive DEmocracy through digitalisation") project, in which Paderborn University is one of eleven partners, brings together citizens, government representatives, and experts in exciting workshops to discuss how participation in political processes can be expanded and how political action can be made more transparent. On Tuesday, 23 September and Wednesday, 24 September, the next English-language "Living Lab" will take place under the motto "Envisioning Digital Democracy" at the Hotel Aspethera in Paderborn from 2 pm. Interested parties can register on the event website until 5 September to find out more.

This workshop builds upon extensive research covering digital democracy definitions and theoretical frameworks, digital activism strategies and enabling technologies for democratic participation shaping the future of digital democracies. Participants will work together to translate these research findings into practical tools and frameworks that can improve democratic governance and citizen engagement.
