The leisure region Teutoburg Forest in OWL attracts many tourists thanks to its numerous offers for leisure activities, recreation and sightseeing. There is plenty to discover: castles and fortresses, nature excursion destinations, parks and gardens, thermal baths and spas, and much more.
Animal lovers and children can enjoy the many animals in the region. In addition to animal parks and petting zoos, there are also several offers for walks with alpacas (one of them even in Paderborn) or donkeys. There are also game reserves, wild horses, storks and an eagle observatory, which are definitely worth a visit.
