Kickoff meeting in Lehnin

While research of the NEPTUN project is well underway in some of the participating groups, the kickoff meeting in Lehnin in Brandenburg marked the official start of the project on the 19th of October 2022. The meeting was part of a seminar for doctoral candidates which is held on an annual basis and was organised this year by Veronika Schulze and Benjamin Jurgelucks of mathematical optimisation group lead by Andrea Walther at Humboldt Universit?t zu Berlin. Along with some arrangements regarding collaboration and cooperation within the group, the kickoff meeting included presentations of preliminary studies and fruitful discussions about the future work of the research group.
