How satisfied are students at Paderborn University with the support regarding study-related stays abroad? Which experiences did students have while studying abroad? What discourages students from studying abroad? Are students interested in virtual mobility? How can Paderborn University improve its support for (international) students?
We would like to examine these and further questions together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and we therefore invite all students of Paderborn University to take part in a nationwide student survey.
Background
The online survey is part of the project “Benchmark Internationale Hochschule” (BintHo), which is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Almost 80 German higher education institutions take part in the survey.
By its participation, Paderborn University aims at getting a comprehensive overview of its students’ international mobility and wants to compare its internationality with that of other universities. This will help to find out how services can be improved.
How to participate
The survey addresses all students of Paderborn University, thus including students who have studied abroad or intend to study abroad, students who interrupted/cancelled a stay abroad, students who do not want to study abroad as well as international students. To receive conclusive results, it is important that students who are not interested in studying abroad also participate in the survey.
Students can participate between 25 January 2021 and 21 February 2021 via this link.
Detailed information on data protection can be found here as well as on the survey's homepage. Of course, the participation in the survey is voluntary.
