How do ideas become successful innovations? And how do research findings find their way into our everyday lives? On Thursday, 15 May, the new podcast "Wissen2Wirtschaft ...und zurück", a joint project of the Paderborn University and the Paderborn Economic Development Agency, will be launched. The format brings inspiring personalities to the microphone to show how science, business and society in the region work together to shape progress. Presenter Jenny Heimann encounters the studio guests with journalistic curiosity, while Selina Hare, as a reporter, takes a direct look at how theory becomes practice. You can already subscribe to the podcast on all popular streaming platforms. A new episode is released every three weeks on Thursdays. Further information can be found at: www.wissen2wirtschaft.de.

The first season of "Wissen2Wirtschaft ...und zurück" starts with six episodes and is dedicated to topics that play an important role - and not just in Paderborn: From the urban development project "Zukunftsquartier" to a vibrant cultural and creative industry to the public transport of tomorrow. Start-up stories that impressively illustrate how innovations from Paderborn are conquering international markets are not neglected either. It becomes clear how the exchange between theory and practice works and why Paderborn of all places, away from the big metropolises, is the perfect breeding ground for sustainable transfer - through visibility, networking and innovative spirit.
