As part of the so-called "Open Education Internship Projects", students at Paderborn University have the opportunity to apply for innovative internship formats and work on real social problems. These projects are based on the concept of "Challenge-based Learning" (CBL), which promotes practice-orientated learning and develops solutions for current challenges. They are part of the University Alliance COLOURS, which brings together nine universities from Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, North Macedonia and Latvia, as well as the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University in Ukraine. Paderborn University is responsible for the central coordination of all Alliance activities. Students can currently apply for the following internships: "City of Paderborn digitalisation", "Internship Master of Education" and "Internship Stadthaus Paderborn". The application deadline is 15 and 30 June respectively.

The core objective of the "Open Education Internship Projects" is to intensify cooperation between students, researchers and regional stakeholders and to increase mobility between the partner universities. The internships are carried out by international teams, each consisting of two students: one student from Paderborn University and one student from a COLOURS partner university.

Further information on the framework conditions and contact persons for the "Open Education Internship Projects" can be found in the "Fact Sheet".

If you would like to find out more about COLOURS, you can find information on the website.
