The Paderborn University is once again looking for prizewinners in the categories "excellent dissertations" and "excellent master theses".
Awards for excellent dissertations
Every year, the Executive Board awards prizes to young scientists who have completed their doctoral studies at Paderborn University with "summa cum laude" or "with distinction". The total award money is 10,000 euros, which can be divided into several prizes. The current call for nominations applies to dissertations completed in the period from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023. Nominations are to be submitted by the supervising university lecturers.

Awards for excellent theses
At the proposal of the Paderborn University, the University Society awards students who received their degree certificate between 1 October 2022 and 30 September 2023 and have thus completed an excellent Master thesis. The award is given in the categories "Engineering and Natural Sciences" and "Humanities and Social Sciences including Economics". The award is endowed with 1,300 euros each. Proposals must be submitted by the supervising experts.
