Professor Birgitt Riegraf, President of Paderborn University, was elected the new chair of the Digital University NRW (DH.NRW) on 16 June. This consortium, a collection of 42 universities, works together with the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Culture and Science (MKW NRW) and serves as a hub for digital transformation at universities across the state.
Riegraf is excited about her new role: ‘With universities pooling their strengths like this, we can work together to intensively pursue digitalisation in studies, teaching and research as well administration and infrastructure. I am very much looking to supporting this vital issue to the best of my ability.’
Activities within DH.NRW are coordinated by the administrative office, which will now also be based at Paderborn University from 1 July onwards.
