International Tuesday: Going Abroad During Your Doctorate

Internationalisation at Paderborn University is a cross-sectional task that affects all fields and is supported by a large number of stakeholders. Since the summer semester 2021, the "International Tuesdays" event format has offered all members of the university the opportunity to network in an informal setting during lunchtime and exchange ideas, experiences and best practices with other interested parties. On Tuesday, 1 July, international doctoral candidates can find out about stays abroad during their doctorate from 1 to 2 pm.

Dr Henriette-Juliane Seeliger from the Jenny Aloni Centre for Early Career Researchers will provide a basic overview of everything international doctoral candidates need to consider when planning a stay abroad, whether it's about presenting at international conferences or preparing for a research visit lasting several weeks. There will also be room for questions and discussion at the end of the event.

The lecture will be held in English. Further information and the Zoom link can be found on the event page.
