Research assistants at Paderborn University

For the performance of research and teaching duties and related administrative activities, Paderborn University employs research assistants.

Research assistants may work a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 19 hours per week in the university’s faculties, academic institutions or operating units under the responsibility of a professor, another person with independent teaching duties or an academic member of staff.

The duties of research assistants are defined in § 46 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Higher Education Act (HG NRW).
