E-learning
E-learning is the integration of digital technologies into the teaching process and offers numerous advantages for students and teachers. Students can learn flexibly, independently concerning time and place and at their own pace. Automated tests and exercises enable immediate feedback during the course using audience response systems on site as well as online tests on our learning platform during the self-study phase.
Teachers can better organise the learning content they have created and reuse it for future semesters, which is very beneficial for the overall organisation of courses. The rapid exchange of information makes it possible to outsource many subordinate aspects of the course, leaving more course time available for dealing with more important content. If desired and didactically sensible, the content can also be taught as part of e-learning (flipped classroom), which frees up class time for discussions and exercises.
Overall, e-learning is a valuable tool for improving the quality of university teaching and offering students a wide range of learning opportunities. In addition, e-learning also offers the opportunity to organise the teaching material interactively and enable students to play an active role in the learning process. The combination of traditional classroom teaching and e-learning can create an optimal learning experience.
