For many people, coming out is still a big and courageous step. The day of action on Tuesday, the 21st of November, in the library foyer aims to educate people about this and make the topics of sexual and gender diversity visible.

The Senate of Paderborn University has elected Dr. Annika Hegemann as the new Central Equal Opportunities Officer. The business economist succeeded Irmgard Pilgrim, who held the office since 1992, on 1 October. Our annual Research Day is aimed at all Paderborn scientists and serves as a platform for networking and communication within the university. The focus is always on a current research topic, which is introduced by a keynote speech from a distinguished guest.
The Foreign Language Day has been taking place for around 30 years and has brought several hundred teachers, trainee teachers and students interested in current topics, questions and methods of modern foreign language teaching to Paderborn University every year since 2014. After a digital bridging of the corona-related restrictions, the Foreign Language Day will take place again this year on Wednesday, September 13, in presence.
