Girls' Day

Paderborn University regularly participates in “Girls’ Day – Future Prospects for Girls”, a nationwide open day event for girls. On “Girls’ Day”, schoolgirls can come along to the university to find out about its STEM courses and learn about professions in which women are currently underrepresented. This year, the “Women Shape the Information Society” project is once again organising a series of events to give participants a taster of the various STEM courses on offer at Paderborn University. This gives girls aged 12-14 a practical insight into the individual subject areas and an idea of what they might like to study and pursue as a career based on their interests.

You can find further information on the next Girls’ Day at Paderborn University on the “Women Shape the Information Society” page.
